Did You Know That Fresh Juice Is a Healthy Diet Plan All By Itself?

Did You Know That Fresh Juice Is a Healthy Diet Plan All By Itself?

Fresh Juice Will Improve Your Life!  Have NO Doubt!

Fruits are super foods, and your grandmother will tell you that you’ve got to have your veggies!

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Juicing is incredible life giving nourishment AND it really works to bring balance to the acidity that most of us struggle with.

Building health is about creating a more alkaline environment within your body.  Your pH level is extremely important.

Balancing your body chemistry will create harmony in your body AND your life!

If the pH balance of your fish tank becomes too acidic, should you treat the water or the fish?

Be certain, that no matter what you do to the fish, if the pH of the water they live in isn’t right, they will DIE!

Every cell in your body is bathed in fluid.  If that environment is highly acidic, you will suffer the consequences in the form of disease!

Bring Balance To Your Body With Fresh Juices… From YOUR Kitchen!

A Juicer and a Bag of Fruits and Veggies Will Jump Start Your Healthy Diet Plan!

All juicers are NOT created equal!  You want a good one!

I own a Champion Juicer that has been in my kitchen for 18 years.  Talk about a work horse!  I know of several friends who have had theirs even longer.

Remember that you get what you pay for.  Inexpensive juicers will  cost you more in the long run because they will not yield as much juice from your fruit and vegetables AND they don’t last as long.

One thing is certain, if you can’t clean the thing in 5 minutes, you aren’t likely to use it often!

Good News!

There is a juicer on the market today that is as sturdy as a Champion, but has the added advantage of an even slower spinning chopping blade, giving you even better juice!

AND it’s affordable!

Get a Juicer and Jump Start Your Healthy Diet Plan!

If You Drink Soda, Is Your Healthy Diet Plan Legit?

If You Drink Soda Is Your Healthy Diet Plan Legit

Does the thought of a tall bubbling glass of soda on ice make you thirsty?  I mean doesn’t it make everyone salivate?

Have a Coke and a smile, right?

The craving for that bubbling glass of smiling goodness has become an epidemic.

Are you addicted to soda?  Is it your drug?

Do you know why you should consider giving soda up?

  • Soda habits play a key role in obesity.
  • Sugar loaded sodas feed inflammation and inflammation is the cause of all chronic illness!
  • Phosphorus in soda will WEAKEN YOUR BONES!

Soda Undermines Your Health!

Healthy Diet Plan

If you have a soda plan, you can’t really say you have a healthy diet plan, can you?

Loading up on sugar without nutritional value is a recipe for disaster.  Obesity is a deterrent to living an active lifestyle, as is the stimulating effect of caffeine.

The effect caffeine has on your biochemistry is much like borrowing energy like you would borrow money from the bank.

You eventually gotta pay back that borrowed energy.

Maybe that anchor you are dragging around has more to do with your soda, coffee and tea habit than it does age.  You really can’t tell what effect caffeine is having on you until you have been  “clean” for at least 90 days!

When you have with drawl from caffeine, or any other drug for that matter, you can be sure that you are upsetting the normal balance of neuro-chemistry in your brain.

A Healthy Diet Plan is about what you don’t eat as much as it is about what you do!

Seriously!  Dealing with this one health issue can help you avoid osteoporosis, obesity and sedentary lifestyle!

Have you considered a healthy energy drink option?

You might want to give it a money back guaranteed try!

Do Processed Foods Have Any Place In Your Healthy Diet Plan?

What does the term “processed foods” actually mean?

Do visions of t.v. dinners, cookies and chips (or do you call them crisps?) come to mind?

Do you think of canned meats and roasted nuts?

Is bread a processed food, or part of a healthy diet plan?

The term “processed foods”, for all practical purposes, means food that is less wholesome and possibly harmful.

Fruits and veggies become less and less wholesome from the moment they are picked, but are far more wholesome than anything that comes out of a box or can.

Any type of cutting or grinding allows oxidation of the food stuff, and nutrition is lost.

Flour is completely pulverized grains.

Just because your bread is brown, doesn’t mean it is more wholesome!

Eating 100% whole wheat products is a step in the right direction, but you are still eating a grain that has been through a lot since it left the field, and wheat is a common allergen.

Genetic modification takes bread to a new level of processed!

Wheat AND ALL white flour foods are problematic!

Flour Foods

  • breads/muffins (except those of the sprouted variety)
  • pastries/doughnuts
  • cakes
  • pies
  • cookies
  • pasta (GASP!)

The foods that are part of the culture that you grow up in become more than just your favorite foods.  They become a connection to the past, comfort foods.

Making healthy diet plan choices is about seeing food from a different perspective!

Process emotional “stuff” and you will eat less junk food!

Unconscious eating (and shopping) isn’t planning for health by any stretch of the imagination.

You don’t want to worry about your food, but planning for health means putting more organic produce in your shopping cart and on your plate.

As The Life Breath Coach I teach that the secret to processing emotions WITHOUT emotional eating is Sacred Breathing.

Is All This Cleansing Really Going To Help My Emotional Health?

Elder Spring Cleaning

“Help! I’m buried in spring cleaning!”

Are you having trouble finding your way out of the mess you created trying to get your spring cleaning done?

“Guilty as charged!”

When you pass through a transition in your life, sometimes the cleaning is so bitter sweet that it stirs up your world physically, mentally and spiritually.

I want to encourage you to keep on pushing through the mess until you bring your home the harmony that you deserve.

When you pull out all the assorted accumulation from the past, you may find that you can’t just toss it away and move on.

People make a living out of helping others get organized because it is a challenging thing to do for those who aren’t.

If you are highly efficient and organized, then I salute you!

If you aren’t, don’t sweat it!  Start from your bedroom and work your way out.

When the first and last thing you see every day is clean and organized, the rest of your life will become more clean and organized.

Why should you care about cleanliness?

I mean you wouldn’t want to smell, so you shower everyday, but the house work just never stops and is always going to be there, right?

Is there really any health benefit to spring cleaning?

How in the world can pulling everything out of the closet and making a bigger mess possibly help?!

For years I felt that spring cleaning was a waste of time.  Heck, spring cleaning was a dirty word!

This spring, I am embracing the season with a thorough purging of things un-needed.

At 44, with my daughters giving me teenage challenges and my little 4 year old boy struggling to get a word in edge wise, spring cleaning stirred up the realization that I have passed into a new chapter in my life.

This year I feel a need to pull all that “stuff” out of the boxes and see if I truly need to keep holding on to it.

The process brought up many old memories that I would rather not remember.  It made me realize that I still harbor anger over events that happened a long time ago.

My anger is more irritation than rage, but when the “old stuff” reminded me of events from the past, and old anger surfaced, I was very aware that I had just released energy that had been harming me.

My light mood for the past week has reminded of the huge benefits gained from stirring up old feelings and releasing them all over again.  It wasn’t the first time, and it probably won’t be the last.

Every time you cause old emotions to surface Continue reading Is All This Cleansing Really Going To Help My Emotional Health?

Do You Have A Healthy Diet Plan?

healthy diet plan

Is what you eat healthy?

Are you a junk food junkie, or do you try to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet?

How do you know that what you are eating is actually healthy for you?

Go into your kitchen and look in your refrigerator and pantry.

Do you know what types of things should NOT be there?

Contrary to the lovely television commercials reassuring you that corn syrup is safe….. that is the first thing I recommend that you search for and eliminate from your kitchen.

When you begin searching, you will see that high fructose corn syrup is in everything!

Your body does not even recognize this stuff as a food source and does NOT secrete insulin to digest it when you eat it!

HFCS must be detoxed through your liver because your body is not digesting it.

If you eat enough high fructose corn syrup, you will crave it, BUT it isn’t really food!

Get it out of your kitchen.

Every time you resist health robbing foods, and choose fruits and vegetables instead, you improve your health instead of adding to your distress.

If you eat a diet of highly processed and chemicalized foods, odds are your palate is coated with yeasty build up so that you aren’t enjoying how wonderful Mother Nature’s goodies taste!

Increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables and your palate will be washed clean so that you can actually taste the wonderful subtle flavors of natural foods.

Replacing undesirable foods with wholesome foods will play a big role in your healthy diet plan.

What food to you need to stock in your kitchen in order to support a healthy diet plan?

If you remove from your kitchen all of the junk foods that tempt you, and only eat them when you are not at your home…. you will eat far less of these unhealthy foods.

It will be so much easier to choose healthy snacks when they aren’t hidden behind the potato chips and candy.

The good news here is that there are many choices to choose from when stocking healthy foods in your kitchen.

A healthy diet plan is only possible if you plan ahead.

Healthy Foods That Should Be On Your Grocery List Continue reading Do You Have A Healthy Diet Plan?
