Whether you’re a motivational speaker who’s audience is falling asleep, an employer who is ignored by employees, or a grand parent with grand children testing the boundaries, there comes a time when you look for a little extra power in your voice. As you age you may find you don’t have it when you need it.
Where does the power in your voice come from?
Can Motivational Speaker Training help you speak more powerfully?
As The Life Breath Coach I encourage my students to nurture their relationship with their voice.
It’s not a coincidence that your voice loses its power when you get significantly ill and can gradually lose power as you age.
It’s obvious that the source of your voice is your breath, but it’s not as easy to see the source of the power behind your breath. Is your strength the power behind your breath, or is your breath the power behind your strength?
The mystery isn’t as obvious as “Which came first the chicken or the egg?”
Certainly breathe came first and if you don’t breathe you die!
But can you strengthen your breathing like you strengthen your muscles?
That’s a fair question, since muscles are what pull air into your lungs; if you strengthen THOSE particular muscles will you strengthen your breath?
Run a marathon without conditioning every single muscle in your body and see how strong your breathing is after a mile or two!
Doctors have asthma patients blow into a “peak flow meter” to see how strong their breath is, but is this an accurate measurement of your strength?
No! It’s just an indicator of how much inflammation is interfering with your exhale!
If you’d like to regain your “voice of authority” motivational speaker training might help, but the starting point is your BREATH!
Transforming your breathing will not only make your voice more powerful, it will transform your life! Scientist have proven that the better you breathe the better you live!
Speaking from a stage you give the audience the gift or your presence.
Your message is received effectively when the audience can feel the emotion behind your message.
If you come across rehearsed and scripted, your audience can’t relate to you and connect with you on a personal level. No matter how great your presentation is, it will fall flat if your audience can’t FEEL you!
Your presence only exists NOW!
Your access to now is your BREATH!
“Breathing Into Now” Is How You Impact Your Audience With Your Presence!
As The Life Breath Coach I start with the basics.
Until you really understand what “Breathing Into Now” looks like, you are bound to think of your breath work as “deep-breathing exercises”.
“Deep-breathing exercises” have the potential to harm you and weaken your breathing so be careful that you know what you are doing and why before you explore any sort of “breath work”.
It seems absurd that you could hurt yourself with breath work, but breathing yourself breathless is an easy thing to do if you don’t know what you are doing!
Click on the blue button and explore the benefits of “Breathing Into Now”.
Many blessings,
