  1. Hi Carrie, Thank you for sharing your story. I haven’t practiced EFT but I do have another suggestion to help you.

At a health food store you can find Bach Flower Rescue Remedy drops. Place 4 drops under your tongue as needed. There are many individual remedies but Rescue has several of them combined to help with issues like this. All of the remedies are geared to emotional pain and relief. Rescue Remedy is useful for emotional upsets, car accidents, and other traumas which cause strong feelings.

While it doesn’t act as an “instant tranquilizer” my experience has been that it helps me re-focus and see things in a different light. I have watched high-anxiety people totally calm down and one even slept for 12 hours after a traumatic experience (2 doses for her.)

It’s a very subtle homeopathic remedy; very dilute, similar to highly diluted sun tea and it can be taken regardless of any medications you may be using–no drug interactions. Rescue Remedy is useful to keep in your car or medicine cabinet for this type of emotional event. I hope this will help, too.

    • Aloha Kathryn,
Thank you so much for reminding me of this wonderful simple healing tool!

I have some in the cupboard and I’m going for some now. I always have some on hand and used to keep it in my purse.

Thanks to your reminder, it will be better utilized in my home once again!

      Many blessings,
      Carrie
