Where Did Asthma Come From?

Never had asthma when you were younger, but now your doctor tells you you’ve got asthma?Where Did Asthma Come From?

How’s your energy level?

Are you sleeping well?

Do you have a moist cough?

Do you wake at night gasping for breath?

Have you had increased urination lately?

Did your doctor ask you those questions when he/she diagnosed you with asthma?

Because each of those questions has the potential to help your doctor figure out what is causing your wheeze.

All the questions your doctor asks you are intended to be used to “diagnose” your problem.

During “Life Breath Coaching” I teach you to hold a vision of yourself as whole, healthy, and vibrant, while rejecting all labels.

I am not fond of diagnosis in general.  Labeling your dis-ease is often NOT helpful!

Now, when the diagnosis you receive is actually a MIS-diagnosis, the injury is compounded immeasurably!

If your asthma diagnosis is actually heart failure, Continue reading article →

Is Your Body Shutting Down Dying?

body shutting down dying

Some folks are drama queens, you never know when to take them seriously.

But if you are seriously feeling your body shutting down … dying … then I hope you can get someone to listen to you!

I’m not saying that YOU are a drama queen, but I’ve seen so many people STRUGGLE getting the care they need!

It leaves me wondering, “why won’t your doctor listen to you?”.

My good friend, Terri, had advanced heart failure before they decided to listen to her.

I miss her.

It wasn’t all the doctor’s fault though.

Terri just wouldn’t complain very loudly.

Days before her death she said, “I put up with it too long”.

She was referring to having constant diarrhea for over a year that she couldn’t get anyone to address.

Terri died because Continue reading article →

Looking For Information To Reverse Low Oxygen Level?

nasal cannula

Information to reverse low oxygen level is a common request here on Heart Failure Solutions.

You likely heard the term “low oxygen level” from your doctor.  Normally there is a life threatening crisis or at least very uncomfortable symptoms immediately preceding the news that your oxygen level is low. Odds are you’ve been living with low oxygen level longer than you’ve been aware of it.

If your doctor prescribed home oxygen for you, consider yourself fortunate.  There is a whole lot of resistance to ordering home oxygen for many practitioners of Western Medicine. Not all doctors are misinformed but it has been my experience that the vast majority of doctors are dangerously mistaken about low oxygen level.

3 “Facts” You Should Never Believe Continue reading article →

If Heart Failure Is a Deadly Diagnosis, are There Really Solutions For An Epidemic of Heart Failure?

A Heart Failure Diagnosis is almost a death sentence.

If your doctor has given you the diagnosis, you are in big trouble.

Heart Failure is not a diagnosis that is typically even suggested until there are harsh signs of impending doom.

Within the medical community it seems like a heart failure diagnosis means admitting defeat.  That might be one reason why heart failure is SO commonly mis-diagnosed as asthma!

The point is that you NEED to make yourself AWARE of what causes contribute to Heart Failure as well as symptoms that precede it: Continue reading article →

How Important Is Oxygen?

Low Oxygen Levels 1 -300

If you have low oxygen levels you are dying.

Denial is not effective treatment for low oxygen levels.  Even if you “feel okay”.

Oxygen hitches a ride on your red blood cells in order to travel around your body.  If your oxygen level is too low (below 92%) the oxygen molecules can’t make the leap.  The pressure is too low.

When your oxygen level is below 92%, the oxygen that is in your blood cruises around in your circulation but the pressure isn’t high enough for it to actually get where it is needed.

You Want To Improve Low Oxygen Levels Because You Are DYING Til You DO!!

You just can’t take this too seriously.  When you discover someone you love is experiencing this situation you feel panicked to do something about it!  Low oxygen level symptoms are alarming, but they may show up in ways that seem like “normal aging”.

Just be aware that you will likely meet resistant from the care recipient when you attempt to supplement oxygen.

Nobody likes to use supplemental oxygen.  It feels like a leash.  When the tubing rubs and irritates skin, and the increased restriction starts to discourage, it can be difficult to remember that supplemental oxygen is a healing tool!
