Stiff Neck?

Do you literally have a pain in the neck most of the time?

Are you often tense?

You are in good company.

It seems to be going around.

stiff neck

If you have had head, neck, shoulder, or back pain lately answer the following questions:

  1. Have you had any water to drink today?
  2. Do you get activity regularly?
  3. How much sugar do you eat?
  4. Are you a habitual user of stimulants?
  5. Do you understand how your breathing can make you sick?

Sick of that stiff neck?

It may not be easy to hear that you are the cause of your own suffering, but to a large extent that is true.

The inflammatory process that causes your stiff neck is something you should be concerned about, not just because of the pain and discomfort, but because inflammation is the cause of all chronic suffering including heart disease!

Get rid of your stiff neck so you can relax and you will reduce your risk of chronic and fatal illness as well.

  1. Hi Ursula,

I hope that is one bad habit you resolve to break this year. Ten years ago I was living with incredible pain. Learning that sleep is magic saved me from years and years of suffering.

When I am tired I go to bed. Even if it is the middle of the day. I am usually back up and at it with far more focus once I am rested.

I think of coffee, and any other stimulant for that matter, like borrowing energy that will have to be paid back later. I’m not so likely to turn to it for help when I know there is a pay back. Ask your adrenal glands, they will agree that it is not worth it 🙂

    Many blessings,
    Carrie

  2. I found for me I get my stiff neck when I over do it. What that means is I am working and doing way above my stamina. I get into the coffee and burn out my adrenals.

I keep on going even when I am tired. In My mind I rationalize that I have to keep on going no matter and that the coffee will keep me going.
When I need to do is listen to my body, drink green tea and rest when I need to rest.
