You want to satisfy your need for oxygen or you will not heal from low oxygen levels!
If you remember nothing else, remember that.
Times to watch for low oxygen levels:
- while reclining
- while standing
- while stooping over
- while climbing stairs
- while cleaning
- while bathing
- while sleeping
- while you have excessive water retention
- WHILE EXERCISING
There are two separate issues to consider before you implement your plan to be more active.
1 Is your exercise oxygen rich?
If it isn’t you shouldn’t be exercising at all! Being active is is necessary in order to heal, BUT you won’t heal if your activity, whatever it is, is done without meeting your needs for oxygen.
2 Are you accurately assessing your situation?
Deterioration is a tell tale sign of oxygen starvation.
- feeling weaker
- frequent cold and flu like symptoms
- increased rather than decreased stress with exercise
If you are not energized with your exercise efforts, odds are that low oxygen levels and bad breathing habits making your exercise efforts less than helpful.
